“From the wrighter behind Toy Story” it said on the cinema poster. Oh boy did we get our hopes and expectations up. Normally I feel no need for posting bad reviews for animation films because they (film studios) all gotta start somewhere and kids like the movies almost regardless of how much grown ups dislike them.
But this one… Oh dear.. When you walk into the cinema with Pixar and Toy Story in mind and get this, you will get disappointed, very disappointed. Everything from the manuscript, animation, music composition, volume control (voices and sound effects) and voice acting (dubbed norwegian version) was wrong. This film seemed like a mess of a school project and don’t come close to the quality we’re used of seeing from Pixar and Dreamworks.
I wish the creators of this movie the best of luck in future projects, but I hope they’ve learned from this one and don’t advertice the same way if they can’t deliver.
